It's been a pleasure running The Clippers since 1997, and from winning
the Curry Awards 2 years in a row, in 2010 and 2011, I am positive we
will win it this year, with your support. I am grateful working in the
Penicuik community, working and meeting amazing people. I would like

Evening News Awards - Mohammed was the recipient of two Evening News
Best of Edinburgh Awards in June 2011. He received the Community Award
and the Best Food Take Away Award
Best Community Contribution Award 2010 - Mohammed Liton, owner of the
Clippers Indian restaurant, Penicuik, Midlothian scooped ‘Best Community
Contribution Award 2010’. Mr Liton, 45, is a devoted sponsor of many of
local civic events, including Penicuik’s annual gala day, and each year raises
funds for the Penicuik on Parade donating 50% of the Indian Tapas evening
takings.
