2013 from the successful Bonnyrigg Rose ‘A’
U21 side and made several appearances last
season.
Danny is an experienced right sided midfield
player and striker. He was signed from Cilvil
Service Strollers by Arbroath and joined us
from there
The Squad
The big goalkeeper was signed in August 2013
having spent a spell on the sidelines having left
Berwick Rangers last season. Previous clubs
include Whitehill Welfare and Cowdenbeath.
Experienced goalkeeper signed earlier this season having
gone into ‘semi’ retirement, previously at Haddington,
Newtongrange Star and Vale of Leithen. Has enjoyed
starts in local cup competitions and several friendlies.
The young central defender now in his second season in
the juniors having signed from Bonnyrigg Rose ‘A’ in the
summer of 2013. Settle into a central defensive
partnership with Dougie Cunnison last season that was
an integral part of the league winning side.
26 Year old who signed for Cuikie in July 2013 with a wealth of football experience. He made his Dunfermline first team debut at 17
years and 202 days against Kilmarnock in 2004, becoming the youngest ever player to start a SPL match for the Pars. On 26
November 2005, he scored the only goal as Dunfermline sensationally beat Celtic at Celtic Park. After a spell on loan at
Cowdenbeath he signed for Icelandic club Valur. He returned to Scotland in 2011, signing for Forfar Athletic. He moved to
Stenhousemuir in the 2012 summer transfer window, but was released by the club at the end of the season after making 33
appearances. Voted Committee Player of the Year for 2013-14.
A local lad who joined the club in the summer of
2013 from Bonnyrigg Rose ‘A’. An all action player
who can fill any of the midfield positions and
enjoyed an excellent run in the side last season.
Was voted the Supporters Player of the Year for
2013-14.
Experienced centre forward who signed for the club in the
summer of 2013. Having started his career at Cowdenbeath
he has played for Arniston Rangers, Musselburgh Athletic
and Bonnyrigg Rose prior to joining up at Penicuik Park and
reached the semi-final of the Junior Cup with Bonnyrigg in
2012. Leading scorer last season despite missing out the
latter part of the season through an injury sustained at Pollok.
Experienced Centre Half who returned to the club for a
second spell in August 2008. Has seen success at previous
clubs Musselburgh Athletic and Bonnyrigg Rose. He became
Co –manager with Bryan Ryrie in December 2009 and
continued to play. Was appointed Manager in his own right
during the close season and led the club to the Premier
League title.
Now in his third spell at the club after spells with Arniston
Rangers and Bonnyrigg Rose. Can play either as a striker or
in midfield and started his career at Cowdenbeath.
Influential in last seasons title win playing a variety of
‘attacking’ positions.
Joined from Bonnyrigg Rose in 2012 and is a left footed
centre half. He played his youth football Hearts BC then
Tynecastle, Salvesen and Currie. Played for the Scottish
Schools U18 side and is recovering from long term injury
The influential midfielder is the longest serving
player at the club was signed from Newtongrange
Star in September 2006, having started his career
at Hearts. He scored his 50th competitive goal for
the club against Linlithgow Rose in the second
league game this season.
A defender signed from Arniston Rangers, where
he was captain, in August 2011. He was
appointed Club Captain in September 2013 and
led the club to last season’s league title from his
preferred centre half position.
A versatile midfielder who signed from Tranent
Juniors in August 2011. His versatility has seen him
turn out not only at right back but also in goals. Voted
as scorer of Goal of the Season for 2013-14 for his
effort against Arniston at Newbyres Park in May.
A 34 year old experienced left back and Junior Cup winner
who is in his fifth season at Penicuik having signed in July
2010 from Linlithgow Rose. He was a member of the Rose
side who lifted the junior ‘Holy Grail’ in 2007, but missed
out on their 2010 win.
Steven is a left sided midfield player, but has also played
up front as a striker. Steven's former clubs include
Livingston, Cowdenbeath, Arbroath, Whitburn, East Fife,
Stirling Albion and spells at Australian sides Shepparton
South, Hume City, South Melbourne and Moreland
Zebras.

David was eleven years with Bonnyrigg Rose having signed for Pat Glynn as a youngster. He is a versatile midfielder who
puts in the hard work on the pitch which has been valued by players and supporters alike with 2 POTY awards. He was
awarded a testimonial last year for his services to Bonnyrigg. He is likely to be involved more in a coaching role with
Penicuik and is completing his C coaching license and is mid-way through the B qualification.
Signed this summer having been out of contract at Clyde FC, Neil is a 31 year old midfielder with more than 240 senior
league appearances to his name. He spent his early career at Heart of Midlothian, but he could only manage a handful of
appearances before being released. He is best remembered by Hearts fans for two assists in a 2–1 defeat of Edinburgh
derby rivals Hibs in a match played at Easter Road on 3 November 2002. Janczyk was released by Hearts in 2005 and he
then signed for St. Johnstone and after failing to hold down a regular place he was loaned out to Raith Rovers and then
Stranraer. He was released by St. Johnstone at the end of the 2006–07 season after two years with the club. A subsequent
transfer to Brechin in 2007 led to the most notable period of Neil's career to date, as he made over 100 appearances for
The Hedgemen.He then signed for Berwick in 2012 and played in nearly 50 matches for The Borderers before being re-
united with Duffy at Clyde for the 2nd half of the 2013-14 season.

A 6’7” versatile player, signed from Vale of Leithen
in March this year. He started in the juniors at
Newtongrange Star and after three seasons
moved to Australia to play for Cockburn City. When
he returned he signed for Whitehill Welfare before
heading to Vale on his way to Penicuik Park.

David White
The 35 year old central defender started his professional career at Motherwell before moving on to Cowdenbeath
where he spent four seasons. He joined Brechin City in 2003 and spent eight seasons there before leaving for East
Fife in 2011. He was at East Fife for two seasons before joining Bonnyrigg Rose in the junior ranks in 2013 before
arriving at Penicuik Park.
