The new management team of Craig Meikle and Brian Ryrie took over with nine games to go in season 2009/10. Despite having no previous football management experience, they turned the team's fortunes around from possible relegation to a comfortable mid-table finish. Some detail on their football background is shown below. Jimmy Wight, Raymond Sandison and Paul Riley joined the management team in season 2011/12. Long time Physio Jeff Gray completes the management team.
Craig's previous clubs and Honours were: Eskmills boys club, Musselburgh 2000-04, Bonnyrigg Rose 04-08, signing with Penicuik Athletic in 2009 and is now player/manager along with Brian. He has won the following honours: B division champion, 3 x Brown cup winner, Miller cup winner, 2 x Fife and Lothian winner, East of Scotland cup
In his career, Brian played for the following clubs: Salvesen Boys Club, Eskmills Boys Club, Hutchison Vale Boys Club, Penicuik 88- 90, Meadowbank Thistle 90-93, Rosyth Recreation 93-96, Armadale 98-99, Musselburgh Athletic 99-2005, returning to Penicuik Athletic in 2006, but had to retire due to injury. He won the following honours: B division champion, Brown cup winner, Scottish cup winner.
