Indiscipline costs Cuikie the points against Ballingry

Two first half sendings off in the 44th and 47th minute saw new signing Brian Murray and Darren Moonie go for an early bath. Ballingry went in at half time one goal up scored by Michael McAinsh. The second half was all one way traffic and a superb second from Adam Moffat and a double by John Fraser sealed the points for the visitors.

Snowy's view vs Ballingry

snowynew.jpg

Would you agree that indiscipline cost us the game?

Yes definitely, at the end of the day we need all our men on the park to have a chance of a result. That’s three games now we have had men sent off. There may have been excuses for the previous sending offs, but today there were no excuses for the way that it happened today and the boys let the rest of the team down – it was as simple as that.

How will you eradicate that discipline issue?

I had plenty to say at half time, and my captain expressed his views also and these players will have to take on board what was said to them. I will have to make decisions now that may well mean they will not get a start next week. I have to trust the players on the park and make sure that the players I put out next week are a hundred percent trustworthy.

That result now puts us in a precarious league position.

It certainly does, and if you recall I said a couple of weeks ago that we had some big games that we had to get three points from. However, we are now in a dogfight and we have to stop the silly things to give ourselves a chance.
