Kyle Allison saves the day for Penicuik  Keeper Kyle Allison was Penicuik’s saviour against the Gowfers with a great penalty stop and a string of top drawer saves. The first half was evenly contested with neither side able to beat solid defences. In the second half Andy Forbes was red carded for a hand ball on the goal line. However, Allison came to the rescue with his penalty save. Despite being reduced to ten men, Penicuik rolled up their sleeves and looked the better team. in the 91st minute Carnoustie’s Roche headed for an early bath after a second yellow card. Penicuik Athletic Breakfast/Player Presentation Club Breakfast - The Club breakfast/player presentation will be held in Shottstowm Miners Welfare Hall on Sunday 20th May with a 1.00pm start at a cost of £25 a head. As well as your breakfast, you will be entertained by two guest speakers, John Geoghan and Sherriff Lindsay Wood. We need as many people at the function as possible. If you are able to take a table of ten, that would be excellent. If not, please attempt to sell as many tickets as you can and we can add the loose numbers to a table. Please make every effort to support these events as their success is vital to the well being of the club. Latest Team News We are delighted to announce that vice captain Lewis Barr has agreed a new deal to extend his stay at Penicuik Park, as first announced at the end of the Q&A on Tuesday night. Lewy is in his second spell at Penicuik Park and has so far played 95 times, netting 10 goals. Last Man Standing Competition We are delighted to announce our new ‘Last Man Standing’ competition that will launch on Saturday 31st March. Costing £10 for the initial entry, and running for Scottish Premiership match days 32 to 38, you pick one team each match day and it’s simple - if they win, you’re still standing! Penicuik Lottery The Penicuik Lottery numbers for Tuesday 17.4.18 were 9, 11, 26 and 29 - no jackpot winner. Three numbers paid £30.  Next week’s jackpot is £5000. The second jackpot now stands at £4000 The jackpot prize is capped at £5000.
