The new management team of Craig Meikle and Brian Ryrie took over with nine games to go in season 2009/10. Despite having no previous football management experience, they turned the team's fortunes around from possible relegation to a comfortable mid- table finish. He has won the following honours: B division champion, 3 x Brown cup winner, Miller cup winner, 2 x Fife and Lothian winner, East of Scotland cup Brian Ryrie In his career, Brian played for the following clubs: Salvesen Boys Club, Eskmills Boys Club, Hutchison Vale Boys Club, Penicuik 88-90, Meadowbank Thistle 90-93, Rosyth Recreation 93-96, Armadale 98-99, Musselburgh Athletic 99-2005, returning to Penicuik Athletic in 2006, but had to retire due to injury.
