Welcome to the Magliveras Dental Practice, The Square, Penicuik EH26 8HL. We are a long established family Dental Practice located in Penicuik centre. The Practice opened in 1969 and Dimitri joined in 1982 and bought the Practice in 1989. As a Practice we look forward to providing you with high quality general and cosmetic dental services. The team consists of three dentists who are assisted by long standing, fully qualified, friendly and efficient support staff. The Practice has been recently refurbished to allow for a fully operational local decontamination unit (LDU), which ensures the appropriate cleaning and sterilisation of our reusable dental instruments to meet the high clinical standards. We are now fully computerised, and hold all our patients records on a computer data base, and also now have digital x_ray facilities. These require significantly lower doses of radiation to produce a picture of the tooth , therefore safer than conventional systems. The images taken are sent immediately to your record file, giving an increased level of confidentiality and ensuring that we never lose a radiograph.
