White fillings allow us to restore decayed or broken potions of your teeth almost invisibly. They have contributed much to
dentists ability to improve smiles. They are suitable for use in front and most back teeth. Elimination of unsightly areas of decay or
discolouration will enhance your confidence to smile.
Cosmetic Dental Veneers are one of the most versatile restorations available for enhancing your smile. Veneers can be used to
lighten discoloured teeth, straighten squint teeth and to close spaces between front teeth. Veneers are thin coverings made of
porcelain that are bonded to the front of your teeth.
Tooth whitening. A special tray is made using a mould of your mouth and we provide you with a kit to use in the comfort of your
own home. Using bleaching gel inside the tray, you wear this overnight over a period of a few weeks, coming in for regular checks
by your dentist until the desired level is reached.
Crowns are used to restore and improve the aesthetics and function of teeth that are heavily filled or broken down. Crowns are
sometimes referred to as a "cap." Aesthetic crowns are used in areas of the mouth where appearance is important. They are
made of porcelain or porcelain firmly bonded on to a precious metal substructure
Bridges: Many patients do not feel confident when wearing dentures. They dislike the fact that the denture is ( and has to be )
removable. Bridges can be an alternative They restore the appearance and function of a space make chewing easier and
conceal the fact that you have lost a tooth. Bridges are bonded in place using long term cements. While they do require daily
cleaning they are not removable Bridges can be made directly in your mouth or in a laboratory.
Dentures are removable restorations for missing teeth. They are usually made from a gum coloured plastic base, with artificial
teeth positioned so they restore your smile and bite. They can be complete (replacing all teeth) or partial (replacing some teeth).
Having missing teeth can make you feel self-conscious about your smile and make eating and speaking difficult. It also has a
negative impact on your oral health, so it is vital that they be replaced.
Dental care for Children
Prevention is better than cure and that is why we believe in seeing children at the earliest possible age, and making their first visit
an enjoyable one. The earlier a child is registered and examined the quicker potential problems can be spotted and advice can be
given in the hope of preventing these.
