Physiotherapy in your own home
STUART CAMPBELL MOBILE PHYSIO
Parkinson’s Parkinson’s disease causes disturbances of motor control and can often affect an individual’s ability to co-ordinate movements, maintain balance and retain an upright posture. Although the common activities of daily living may be affected, the goal for physiotherapy treatment of parkinson’s is always to promote and facilitate the individual’s functional independence. Brain & Spinal Injuries Physiotherapy can help individuals to relearn movements and skills that may have been affected by their brain/spinal cord injury. The aim of treatment is to promote the individuals optimum levels of physical ability, with research suggesting that people can continue to improve and progress 10 or more years after a head injury. CONFIDENTIALITY In compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998, all personal medical records will be treated with privacy, kept secure and for no longer than necessary.
