50/50 DEVELOPMENT FUND

You will all have enjoyed the success of this season’s Scottish Cup and the excitement it has created around the town. Our participation in the Scottish Cup is due to us attaining our SFA Club Licence and this is subject to annual review and renewal and we have to meet its requirements as decided by the SFA Board. This will bring challenges going forward, the first being the requirement to upgrade our floodlights by 2021, which will come at a substantial cost to the club. We have already invested heavily in upgrading our facilities and whilst a good Scottish cup run brings financial rewards these need to be augmented to achieve the future required improvements. The Club have taken the decision to launch a Development 50/50 Club to take over the current 50/50 club with all profits going towards the ongoing upgrade of our facilities. All existing 50/50 members will transfer over automatically. The minimum monthly prize will remain at £250 and if we could only get half of those who travelled to Firhill or who attended the home match against Stenhousemuir to subscribe then our future facility improvements will become so much more achievable. The monthly subscription will remain at £5 (or multiples thereof) and entry can be made by downloading the form (CLICK HERE) to download the form or go to our other social media outlets, complete and submit it to your bank. All entries for the inaugural January draw must be submitted by 25th January so that numbers can be allocated. The first draw will be made at the home match v Linlithgow on 8th February.
