Shortly afterwards, Burrell appeared to be pulled down by the keeper but no penalty awarded. In the 22nd minute, Yossie pulled off a great save after his throw out had been intercepted. On the half hour Killin lobbed the keeper, but ball went just wide of goal. Six minutes into the second half and Greg Ross put Penicuik ahead when his shot beat Wilson and went into the net off the post. However Vale equalised through John Ferguson in the 71st minute. Penicuik took the lead again in the 85th minute when James McPartlin headed home a pin point cross from McCulloch. Two minutes later it was all square when Josh Morris lobbed Bejaoui.
