They started brightly and a Killin shot flashed across the goal in five minutes before McPartlin set up Montgomery whose shot brought out the first of many great saves from McLeod in the home goal. The opener came in the tenth minute as a McDermott corner was headed home by ROSS. This brought a response from the home side and Reid's shot went wide before Millar replaced the injured McCallum. There were 22 minutes gone when McLeod saved at the feet of Killin after smart interplay between Montgomery and McPartlin set him up. The visitors were starting to dominate and create good chances as first Millar saw his effort well saved by McLeod and then the keeper could only watch as Lister's shot from 25 yards hit the top of the cross bar. With half an hour gone an opportunist Cunnison shot from some 45 yards was turned over the bar by McLeod. Two minutes later McLeod came out of his box to clear and as the ball broke to Millar he saved again, then as Killin attempted to fire home the loose ball the keeper came to the rescue again. The Penicuik pressure continued to build and Young saw his header cleared off the line from a Gay corner. Five minutes before half time Montrose in a rare foray into a the visitors half saw a  Ross effort well saved by Bejaoui. HT Montrose Roselea 0 Penicuik Athletic 1 The second half started in the same mode as the first with title chasing Penicuik on the attack and a Montgomery shot was well saved by McLeod. There was constant pressure on the home goal as Killin saw his header come back off the bar with the keeper beaten. He wasn't to be defied and in the 56th minute KILLIN picked up a ball at the edge of the box, beat his marker and shot over McLeod into the corner of the net. The next half hour saw the visitors dominate but failing to make their possession count with  Bejaoui a mere spectator as Millar, McPartlin and Young all failed to hit the target from good positions. Penicuik's profligacy in front of goal came back to haunt them as with only four minutes left COLLIER gave the relegation fighting visitors a lifeline as he headed ome from close range. Penicuik were left stunned with four minutes of added time on the clock when a long throw into the box was poorly defended and REOCH knocked the ball past Bejaoui to give Roselea a share of the points. The referee blew for full time immediately on the restart. FT : Montrose Roselea 2 Penicuik Athletic 2
