The Penicuik Community Sport Hub is the first Community Sport Hub set up in Midlothian. The Penicuik Community Sports Hub is made up of local clubs and organisations which co- operate and support each other. Within our ranks, we have new clubs starting out and others which have been established for decades. As a constituted organisation, we are committed to improving the already high standard of sports clubs and facilities in the Penicuik area while engaging with and supporting new ones. By building on our strengths we will increase the opportunities available to local people and will engage with those who share our values. - Helping to develop local clubs and sporting organisations - Developing coaches to achieve thet potential - Increasing the number of volunteers at member clubs - Improving sports equipment and facilities - Increasing the number of sports available by supporting new clubs starting out - Attracting and developing volunteers Get Involved Do you have the skills to help run a local club? Our clubs are always keen to recruit good volunteers.Could you help with accounting, marketing, administration, coaching or any other aspect? Whether you have these skills, others or none, our clubs would be happy to use your help. There will also  be plenty of support on hand. Contact us if you are willing to help. For Clubs The Sport Hub gives local clubs the opportunity to link with like-minded organisations to access opportunities for coach education, admin, marketing funding and volunteer recruitment and development. For participants All participating sports clubs have fully qualified coaches and are committed to helping people take part in their sport. The clubs are really keen to take on new helpers, so if you think you can help out doing some web work, admin or lending a hand in any way, don’t hesitate to get in touch. We are always keen to have people come along and encourage our players on match days too. Penicuik has a long history of sporting achievements.
