Penicuik exited the St Michael's
cup when Armadale won a close fought tie 0 - 1. Penicuik played well for the opening twenty minutes, but created few chances,
whereas Armadale had at least two good chances , but failed to score. In the second half, both sides had opportunities to
score, but again squandered their chances. It was not until the 84th minute that the winner was scored when Murphy picked
up the ball in his own half and dribbled past five Penicuik players and then rounded Billy Bald to slot the ball into the
empty net.
(Brown Cup) Penicuik fail at Fauldhouse
Penicuik took the lead in the
15th minute when Ross Montgomery tapped home from close range after good work by Cole. Then three minutes later, Billy Bald

kick squirm out his hands into the net. Penicuik took the lead again in the 26th minute when Martin Cameron slotted
home a rebound off keeper Connolly. Fauldhouse equalised in the 37th minute when Chris McLenaghan headed home from
inside the box. They took the lead in the 53rd minute when, despite a tremendous block by Foster, Andrew Cooper 's
header went over the goal line. Fauldhouse added a fourth through Craig Meechan in the 80th minute.

The Cuikie crumble at Camelon
Penicuik were comprehensively
beaten by a well organised classy Camelon side who rattled in four goals without reply before the half time interval. Penicuik
improved in the second half and despite pulling a goal back from the penalty spot, were never good enough to match the quality
of the Super League side.
Solid performance earns Cuikie vital three points
Penicuik earned a vital three points away to Rosyth. Jack Lynch opened the scoring and despite hitting the woodwork twice,
it stayed that way until half time. Rosyth came at Penicuik with the wind behind them, but Cameron scored a fine goal after
good work by Munro and Montgomery. The game was wrapped up when keeper Houston punched a Ryan Gay corner into his own net.

Cup. Jack Lynch opened the scoring with a glancing header in the 13th minute that sneaked in at the bottom of the keeper's
left hand post. It remained that way until half time, and after the restart, Penicuik piled on the pressure and Edinburgh's
Colin Bowsher was red carded when he fouled Scott Gibb in the box, but no penalty was awarded. Ex Penicuik player
Robert Ure equalised for Edinburgh from the penalty spot in the 61st minute. Immediately afterwards Martin Cameron scored
the winner with a well placed header from a Gay cross.

Penicuik grab a point at Dundonald
In an exciting, eventful and
controversial match in which Penicuik scorned early scoring chances and Dundonald hit the woodwork three times, a goal scored
by Dundonald’s Gary Gilfillan one minute before half time separated the teams at half time. Penicuik got back on level
terms when Mark Cowan headed home from a Ryan Gay free kick in the 58th minute.
