How
would you sum up the game?
When we
looked at the conditions today we knew it would have to be a battling performance and that was what I got out of every one
of them today. I thought we played some good football despite the conditions and I think we thoroughly deserved our victory
just for the sheer hard work the boys put in today.
Would
you agree that it was a game of two halves?
Yes, we
controlled the first 45 minutes, but unfortunately we lost Matti just before half time and I have to say it was a correct
sending off, but we didn’t panic and reverted to one up front and the rest behind the ball. So they had to break us
down and at the end of the day we dug in and got the rewards.
What
was your view of our defence today?
Apart
from the sending off when maybe Matti was on the wrong side of his man, we tightened up a lot today. I was a bit disappointed
to lose a goal again, but everyone was battling for each other at the back and it was great to watch.
