We are delighted to confirm the signing of goalkeeper Liam Robertson. 27 year old Liam has bags of experience having represented a number of amateur sides over the years while also having spells with Tranent Juniors, Peebles Rovers and Selkirk. Liam made his first appearance in a Cuikie shirt as a second half sub in last night’s 7-0 friendly victory against Haddington Athletic D arrell Young   (Defender)   - The   central   defender   now   in   his   fifth   season   at   the   club   with   over   125   appearances   under   his   belt   and firmly   established   as   a   first-choice   centre   half.   Signed   from   Bonnyrigg   Rose   ‘A’   in   the   summer   of   2013   and   was   an   integral   part of the Premier League winning side in 2013-14 and a key member of the 2016 Fife & Lothians Cup winning team. Dean   spent   time   with   Edinburgh   City   and   East   Calder   as   a   youngster   before   moving   to   Airdrieonians   in   2013.   A   year   later   he joined Tynecastle, where he has been since. Scott McCrory- Irving (Midfielder) – Another summer signing from the Lowland League. Attacking midfielder Scott joined Edinburgh University two years ago from Spartans U20s and he was a prominent part of their side in last season's Lowland League, notably scoring a fine free kick against champions East Kilbride Thistle.

A aron   Ponton   (Midfielder)   - Arran   joined   from   Premier   League   side   Haddington Athletic   as   our   first   addition   ahead   of   season   2017/18. Arran   joined   the   Millfield   side   from   Musselburgh   Athletic   in   2013,   making   over   100   appearances   and   winning   the   South   Division   in 2015 under Johnny Harvey. Arran also counts Berwick Rangers, Arniston Rangers and Vale of Leithen as his former clubs. W e   are   delighted   to   confirm   the   signing   of   defender   Craig   Stevenson   from   Lowland   League   Champions   Spartans.   ‘Grinchy’ joined   Spartans   in   2014   from   Lothian   Thistle   Hutchison   Vale,   and   he   previously   spent   time   at   Cowdenbeath   and   Berwick Rangers. He   was   described   in   the   Spartans   match   programme   at   the   weekend,   ‘a   fantastic   work   ethnic,   combined   with   skill   and   pace, and his versatility is a big asset’.

Aa ron   Somerville   (Striker)   - A   prolific   goalscorer   in   the   Lowland   League,   where   he   was   Golden   Boot   winner   in   2014-15, Aaron joined    from    Whitehill    Welfare    in    the    summer    of    2015.    His    previous    clubs    include    his    hometown    Vale    of    Leithen    and Newtongrange Star. Started pre-season with a five goal haul at Preston Atheltic.

W ayne   Sproule   (Midfielder)   -   Wayno   was   on   Cowdenbeath's   books   before   switching   to   Falkirk   and   he   was   attached   to   the   Bairns between   ages   thirteen   and   eighteen.   He   played   for   Tynecastle,   Whitehill   Welfare   and   Vale   of   Leithen   before   he   went   ‘junior’   at Haddington   in   summer   2015.   The   midfielder   followed   the   manager   from   Haddington   last   summer.   He   made   almost   twenty appearances before heading off around the world on his travels. He’s now back and searching for fitness!

Callum   Connelly   (Midfielder)   -   A   midfielder   joined   the   club   early   last   season   from   Lowland   League   Whitehill   Welfare. Callum   joined   Whitehill   from   Lothian   Thistle   HV   in   the   summer   of   2015   and   made   37   appearances,   scoring   10   goals.   Is becoming Mr Versatility at Penicuik having filled almost the outfield positions.
Greg was on the books of Hearts for seven years before spending two years with St Johnstone prior to joining Tynecastle in 2017.n.

Sam Jones (Midfielder) - Sam joined on loan from Berwick Rangers just before Christmas last year having joined Berwick at the beginning of the season from Loanhead Miners Welfare. Prior to that, Sam had spent time with Hibs and Hutchison Vale. Sam was captain of the Berwick Rangers ‘Development’ side last season and was Player of the Year. Having left Berwick at the end of the season Sam signed a permanent deal at Penicuik. Jo hn   Williams   (Defender)   –   Another   summer   capture   from   Lowland   league   Whitehill   Welfare.   John   signed   for   the Rosewell   side   in   2015,   having   previously   played   for   Lothian   Thistle   Hutchison   Vale,   where   he   was   teammates   with Callum Connolly. G ary   Hamilton   (Defender)   –   Centre   Half   Gary   signed   in   the   close   season   having   spent   last   season   at   Newtongrange Star.   Previously   at   Musselburgh   Athletic,   where   he   reached   the   Junior   Cup   Final   in   2015,   and   he   previously   has   also represented Spartans and Coldstream. Ryan Baptie (Defender) - 22 year old Ryan began his career in the youth ranks of Hibs all the way up to Under 20s, before spending a season at Inverness Caledonian Thistle. He then joined Peterhead prior to season 2015/16 and in his two seasons there Ryan spent time out on loan with both Linlithgow Rose and Broxburn Athletic, helping the latter to the Fife & Lothians Cup Final last season. Ryan however might be best known for his stunning 35 yard strike for Linlithgow against Wick Academy in the Scottish Cup which was nominated for Goal of the Tournament. L umbert   Kateleza   (Striker)   –   Lumbert   has   signed   from   neighbours Arniston   Rangers   during   the   close   season   and   is   a   well-known face   to   Penicuik   supporters,   having   often   been   a   thorn   in   our   side   during   our   days   in   the   Premier   League,   and   during   his   time   at Edinburgh   United.   Lumbert   won Arniston's   Supporters'   Player   of   the   Year   award   last   season   and   has   been   linked   with   a   move   to the Super League for a number of seasons. Has notched four goals in preseason with doubles against Whitehill and LTHV. We are delighted to confirm the loan signing of striker Kyle Sampson, from SPFL Championship side Livingston. Kyle signed his first professional contract with Livi back in 2016, having previously spent time in the youth ranks. Kyle became the first player born in the 21st century to play for Livingston when he made his debut against Stranraer in March 2017. He spent the first half of this season on loan at Pumpherston, scoring 8 goals in 13 appearances. Kyle goes straight into the squad for tomorrow’s Midlothian Derby at Newtongrange. St riker   Wayne   McIntosh   was   signed   from   our   Midlothian   neighbours   Bonnyrigg   Rose   ahead   of   the   new   season,   as   Wayne becomes   our   third   new   addition   of   the   summer.   Wayne   has   been   a   prolific   goal   scorer   over   the   years,   often   claiming   top   scorer over   the   course   of   a   season.   In   2006,   at   the   age   of   21,   Wayne   joined   Whitehill   Welfare   for   the   first   time,   scoring   35   goals   over two   seasons,   winning   the   East   of   Scotland   League   in   his   second   season   at   Ferguson   Park.   He   then   moved   into   the   Juniors   with a spell at Arniston Rangers before enjoying spells at Lothian Thistle and Tynecastle before returning to Whitehill in 2011. De fender   Jordan   Caddow   was   signed   from   our   Midlothian   neighbours   Dalkeith   Thistle   ahead   of   season   2018/19,   becoming Johnny   Harvey’s   first   signing   of   the   summer.   Jordan   joined   Dalkeith   in   March   after   five   years   in   a   second   spell   at   Edinburgh   City, where   he   was   part   of   the   side   that   won   promotion   to   the   SPFL   alongside   John   MacDonald.   He   also   counts   Gala   Fairydean Rovers, Whitehill Welfare and Tynecastle amongst his former clubs.

We   are   delighted   to   announce   the   signing   of   goalkeeper   Thomas   Cordery,   following   his   departure   from   East   Fife,   as   revealed by   manager   Johnny   Harvey   in   his   post   match   interview   on   Saturday. Thomas   joined   East   Fife   in   the   summer   and   has   previously played as a trialist for ourselves, in a 6-1 win against Fauldhouse United last season.

We are delighted to confirm the signing of goalkeeper Robert Watt from Tynecastle. Robert joined Tynecastle in 2017 following his departure from Livingston and quickly progressed through their U20s into establishing himself as their number 1.
