One minute later Lough headed on a McCrory-Irving header to Kateleza, but keeper Murphy rushed from goal to gather. In the 10th minute, Murphy pulled off a one handed save to deny Lough. However, Penicuik took the lead in the 12th minute when Hume broke through the midfield, picked out Kateleza who set up LOUGH and he slotted the ball home first time. On the quarter hour, a long ball by Nyang picked out Keast but his strike was well covered by Allison. In the 17th minute, Bo’ness had the ball in the net but Cropley was ruled offside. Penicuik doubled their lead in the 22nd minute when HUME headed home from a McCrory-Irving corner kick. Fifteen minutes later, Keast and Cropley combined well, but Allison was well placed to save Cropley’s effort. Bo’ness pulled a goal back in the 42nd minute when SALLY knocked home a Keast cross. One minute later, a long ball from the defence by Penicuik saw Snowndon’s back pass fall short and J HAMILTON lobbed the advancing keeper to restore Penicuik’s two goal advantage. Half Time: Bo’ness 1 Penicuik 2 In the opening minute of the second half, a Bo’ness corner was headed clear to the edge of the box and driven back in but Allison saved comfortably. In the 51st minute, Kateleza had a chance but was ruled offside. Two minutes later, a driving run by Jones had the home defence in tatters, but with keeper Murphy beaten, Snowdon was on hand to boot the ball clear. In the 69th minute Kateleza set up J Hamilton but Murphy rushed from goal to block the shot. The rebound was cleared under pressure from Kateleza. Immediately afterwards, Bo’ness lost possession on the halfway line and McCrory-Irving set Kateleza free on the right. He picked out J Hamilton who controlled the ball and Kateleza followed up with a strike that appeared to be deflected away for a corner, but a goal kick was awarded. In the 81st minute, a Bo’ness free kick on the right was headed over the bar. Minutes later a Penicuik free kick was headed on to the bar, but a free kick was awarded for a foul on keeper Murphy. Into injury time and a powerful run by Barr was crudely brought to an end as he was pulled down. Barr took the free kick, but it went narrowly over the crossbar. Final Score: Bo’ness 1 Penicuik 3
