The Cuikie lift the Fife and Lothians Cup On a warm night at Musselburgh with the kick off delayed for 15 minutes to let the large crowd in, Penicuik stunned the league champions by taking an early lead when Darrell Young headed home with seven minutes gone. Bonnyrigg fought back and equalised with an Adam Nelson header five minutes from half time but on the stroke of the interval the underdogs regained the lead when Ryan McCallum scored with an exquisite left foot shot. A sterling Cuikie defensive performance from one to eleven kept the Rose at bay and the cup was destined for Penicuik for the third time in its history, and the first time since 1981, when Sean Patterson scored the third with 15 minutes left. A delighted Penicuik side collected the trophy from SJFA President Tom Johnston amid scenes of jubilation!! Click here to read the match report Click on the camera to view the video of the game
