When I was playing for
Livingston me and a few other
boys lost a bet at Christmas so
had to run into the middle of
stadium naked in the snow while
all the other boys kicked balls at
us !

holiday and why?
I've got to say America. I was
there in the summer and can't
wait to go back maybe even stay
there for good!

Nobody had to work and
everything was free ..... just

Penicuik took on Dalkeith Thistle on the Penicuik Astro turf on
31.12.11 and ran out 6-3 winners.
Team: Bald, Riley, McDermott, Meikle, Cunnison, Barr, Knight,
McPartlin, Smith, Brigain, Draper Subs: Roxburgh, Martin,
Thomson, O’Reilly
In a entertaining game that swung from end to end, Penicuik
opened the scoring in the 12th minute when a Dean Knight cross
was deflected past his own keeper by Dalkeith’s Grant Gavin.
Penicuik continued to look the stronger team, but it took them
until the 40th minute before they doubled their lead with a well
taken goal by Mark Smith.
Half time: Penicuik 2 Dalkeith 0
Four minutes into the second
half and Craig Meikle (see
photo left) headed home a
McDermott corner kick.
Dalkeith pulled a goal back in
the 59th minute through Lloyd
Richardson but Penicuik
responded immediately with a
goal from Conor Thomson.
Then in the 78th minute Steven Pudledski did well scoring from
close range for Dalkeith, but again Penicuik replied quickly with a
composed finish two minutes later by new signing Craig O’Reilly.
Five minutes from time, David Morris got a consolation goal for
Dalkeith when he knocked the ball home from close range.
