Next Match -- Saturday 11.2.12 -- League -- Home to Armadale Thistle -- Kick off 2.00pm
Our Main Sponsor E-mail the webmaster  After the excellent result and performance the previous week we fielded an unchanged team and looked for a similar performance. Unfortunately, we got the exact opposite. We started poorly, we were sloppy and indecisive in possession, had no cutting edge to our play, and made wrong decisions in important areas of the pitch. When East Craigie scored their first goal I hoped it would get a reaction from the players. It did, but only for about 10-15 mins and we managed to go in at the break 2-1 ahead. Rather than build on this we became sloppy again and lost two further goals in the second half. We managed to get back to 3-3 and could have scored an injury time winner but unfortunately ended up losing the match after a penalty shoot out. Too many Penicuik players didn't show the hunger, desire, or commitment needed to win a game of football. East Craigie did, and that is why they won.       Player Interview Click here for the Scott Haldane interview Latest Transfer News Callum Martin is available for transfer. Penicuik equalised in the 40th minute when a Keih Barr cross was deflected into his own net by Greg Anderson. One minute later Penicuik took the lead when Keith Barr drilled home a Jerry Draper cut back. The Shipbuilders equalised in the 57th minute, again through Keiran Small and took the lead in the 69th minute when Ross McFarlane scored at the back post off a corner kick. Penicuik equalised in the 76th minute when a Craig O’Reilly header came back off the post and bounced off Ross McFarlane into the net.
